The false fruit will give way to the true fruit.
By Martin CookeWhen a mother gives birth, she delights in her child and forgets the pain and suffering. But you look at the fruit of your womb and are disgusted at the child that has emerged.” We have laboured to bring forth evil” says the church. But this child does not represent the true church and does not have the characteristics of God. This child is the birth of the enemy within the church, which will develop and become ever more evil. The true fruit of the church has yet to emerge, but is yet forming in the womb. When the new child emerges you shall at last have joy and this child shall confront the child of evil. In Luke chapter 8 the fruit of the good ground in the parable of the sower, took time to grow and emerge after the disappointments and the failures.
