Where is the Harvest?

By Martin Cooke

You have been heavily burdened and you have worked in the heat of the day. Yet even when the rain came and watered the crops little fruit was produced. You are weary and say “when will there be fruitfulness, when will the crops grow to harvest?” Yet the crops are blighted, the harvest is meagre and you come again to me saying “when will we see the fruit of the harvest?” Yet the seed must be good, it must not be tainted by the works of man. You must sow in season to the people I have chosen and with the method that I have chosen. As yet you have seen little fruit, but go to my chosen places with the pure seed that I shall give you and you cannot help but produce fruit unto harvest. For when you are obedient to me in all things you shall indeed produce much fruit, as that is my will concerning you. Those that are able to lay their lives down are those that will be successful in preaching the gospel. They are not satisfied with small beginnings but press through in prayer against the enemy until he relents and gives up souls unto salvation. Press on therefore although you seem but few for I can multiply a small seed that is willing to die.
